At this time of year a warming alcoholic drink makes a nice change to a chilled glass of gin or a cold beer. When we think of a hot toddy the tradition is to have a whisky based toddy but you don't have to miss out if you are not a whisky fan. Why not give a hot gin toddy a try.
We find that a citrus base works well so we have used Chase Distillery's Seville Orange Gin as our base but feel free to adapt to your own tastes and we'd love to know what recipe you are following for your hot gin toddy.
- 50ml Chase Seville Orange Gin
- 150ml Boiled Water (allow to cool slightly)
- 7.5ml of Sugar Syrup
- Garnish with a fresh orange and a cinnamon stick.
